World of Darkness Links

World of Darkness Links

Multi-system and General Pages

  • White Wolf Online: May as well start with the company's site. Great place, has a lot of online stuff.
  • ShadownEssence: After White Wolf, this might be the greatest World of Darkness site on the web! Covering the entire WoD (both incarnations), it has links, resources, websites for the various games, fan-created projects in development and more. And check out the forums! They're chock full of bright, gracious folks who love their games.
  • Wolf Spoor: The place to go for your White Wolf news, Wolf Spoor also hosts various resources and projects. I find the site a bit hard to navigate, but well worth the time it takes.
  • Silver Shade's Studio: This is my sister's page. She's got some stuff on there about a chronicle we both play in, along with stuff for a chronicle she's working on creating (characters, settings, items, etc).
  • B.J. Zanzibar's World of Darkness Page: This place has more submitted original material of all kinds for all the WoD game systems than anywhere else I've seen. He's stopped updating, though, as of 2000.
  • Mant's Lair: CHARACTER SHEETS! And other goodies, too. But the character sheets are the great thing here. Bless the man. Actually, I take that back. There's all KINDS of cool stuff going on here.
  • Ex Libris Nocturnis: This is a great center for all sorts of White Wolf information; resources, news, gaming articles, discussions, you name it.
  • Infernalism: the Fall: Great site for evildoers! Learn about Nephandi, Spectres, Infernalists, and all the other 'evilest of evil' in the World of Darkness. Mostly stuff to make you think, and help you gain perspective on these nefarious sorts. But it's really cool to read!

Vampire Links

  • ShadownEssence: After White Wolf, this might be the greatest WoD site on the web! It has links, resources, websites, fan-created projects in development and more. And check out the forums! They're chock full of bright, gracious folks who love their games.
  • Patman's Gateway to the World of Darkness: A great compilation and synopsis of what's going on in all the rulebooks with Clans, Disciplines, vampires' opinions of each other...
  • Sanguinus Curae: Yeah! Elegant *and* useful. Resource page for Vampire, containing Disciplines, Clans and Bloodlines, and good articles to help you ST. Also has fun stuff like WoD fiction and art.
  • Assamites.com: All the links to Clan pages you could ever want.

Werewolf Links

  • ShadownEssence: After White Wolf, this might be the greatest WoD site on the web! It has links, resources, websites, fan-created projects in development and more. And check out the forums! They're chock full of bright, gracious folks who love their games.
  • Brevard's Bestiary: This is a LARP site, which I don't do, but it has so much cool new stuff that I thought I'd put it up anyway.
  • Bastet of the Apocalypse: A webpage just for Bastet. Easily the best Werewolf-related site I've found so far.
  • Way of the Wyrm: How the Wyrm and its servants live and think.
  • The Spirit World: About the Umbra, its environments, and the dwellers within.
  • Weaver Moon: A number of articles and resources to help Werewolf players. Also includes some poetry and fiction. Interesting to think about.

Mage Links

  • ShadownEssence: After White Wolf, this might be the greatest WoD site on the web! It has links, resources, websites, fan-created projects in development and more. And check out the forums! They're chock full of bright, gracious folks who love their games.
  • Ander's Mage Page: This site is possibly the best Mage site on the net. It has a lot on magickal theory, paradigms, characters, talismans, settings like the Midnight Caberet... Plus, Anders has a bunch of other interest pages that are pretty cool.
  • Online Rote Database: Rotes, rotes, and more rotes. Swarms of the little buggers! A very useful site for people who like these things.
  • Mage Stuff by Me!!!: This site has a nice amount of stuff on it, including settings, critters, house rules, and new takes on things.
  • Paradigma Online: OH, yeah, here's the stuff. Conrad the hungry web-slave (ie. the guy at White Wolf in charge of all their on-line stuff) put this one together. Sweet, eh?
  • The Nephandi: Yes, it's a page dedicated to the Nephandi. And quite a good one too (you know, just as far as the quality of the resources). If you for some reason ever want to get into their heads, this might help.

Changeling: the Dreaming Links

  • ShadownEssence: After White Wolf, this might be the greatest WoD site on the web! It has links, resources, websites, fan-created projects in development and more. And check out the forums! They're chock full of bright, gracious folks who love their games.
  • The Moonlit Trod: As Ander's Mage Page is to Mage, so is the Moonlit Trod to Changeling. You have to check this out, if you're into the Fae. There is no more to be said.
  • The Isle of Rainbows: Very cool and info-heavy Changeling resource. Pretty, too.
  • The Right to Dream: A truly, truly spectacular Changeling page. If the Moonlit Trod is like Ander's Mage Page, then this...well, it's the next best thing to working for White Wolf, I'd say. It's moved around a lot in the past couple years, but the URL I've got is the current one, as of 10/10/2003.
  • Kithbook: Boggans: At this date, Kithbook Boggans is the crowning glory of Changeling. Teased but never released by White Wolf, the game ended before it ever became a reality. In response, a group of dedicated Changeling fans came together and made it happen. It is a splendid resource, in my opinion equal in quality to anything White Wolf might have put out. It is also a testament to the love that Changeling fans have for their game. Brings a tear to my eye, it does.
  • The Dream Burrow: The natural home of all Pooka, the Dream Burrow will give you so many ideas for these notorious tricksters that your head will explode. Seriously, you don't even need the Pooka Kithbook if you have access to this site.
  • Artisyn: Changeling art and resources: A grand place to check out if you're looking for Changeling art. House blazons, Changeling icons, character art, and more.
  • Empire of the Samite Mists: If you're looking for Changeling information for New Zealand, this might be worth checking out. Not only does it provide you with history, maps, and ready-made NPCs, it also has a homemade native Kith.
  • The Goblin Foundry: A frighteningly detailed website charmingly designed as a Nocker's workshop. The scary part is the fact that there are blueprints for all the oddities displayed there. If you want to know how to do a Nocker justice, all you have to do is look at this place.
  • Kithbook: Trolls Revised: First there was Kithbook Boggans, now there is Trolls Revised. This project happened because the official Kithbook didn't do them justice, and again some dedicated Changeling fans rose to the rescue. Enjoy!

Wraith: the Oblivion Links

  • ShadownEssence: After White Wolf, this might be the greatest WoD site on the web! It has links, resources, websites, fan-created projects in development and more. And check out the forums! They're chock full of bright, gracious folks who love their games.
  • The Wraith Project: This one gets top billing because these guys have taken it upon themselves to continue what White Wolf dropped. Lots of Wraithly nummyness here. You go, guys!
  • Necropolis: New York: Homepage for a Wraith game set in NYC. Not a whole lot in the way of resources, but good setting and character material.
  • THE UNDERWORLD: This one even has some real information on it.

Kindred of the East Links

  • ShadownEssence: After White Wolf, this might be the greatest WoD site on the web! It has links, resources, websites, fan-created projects in development and more. And check out the forums! They're chock full of bright, gracious folks who love their games.
  • Kuei-jin: Kindred of the East: Well, since this is the only KOE link I've found so far, I'll put it up. Its mostly a list of their Soul Disciplines and stuff.
  • Chinese Characters and Culture: This site is about the Chinese language. Ever wonder what all those symbols all over the KOE books are? Plus, writings translated from Chinese (eg. Sun Tzu's Art of War), and explanations of what their language means to their culture.
  • Understanding Japanese Culture: This is a directory of stuff about Japanese cultural values. It looks like it was structured for a class, but it's very good anyway.

Mortals Links

  • Wouldn't you know it? The two decent Mortals sites I knew of have crashed and burned. Let me know if you spot any others out there! They're rare as blue diamonds.
